Manage all aspects of the criminal defense process, from pre-trial motions and plea negotiations to trials and post-trial hearings. Conduct thorough legal research to build strong defenses and to keep abreast of changes in criminal law. Draft, file, and argue motions in court. Negotiate with prosecutors to reach plea agreements when beneficial for the client. Develop and implement case strategies that align with the client's best interests. Provide counsel to clients on their rights, potential outcomes, and the legal process. Maintain confidentiality and attorney-client privilege at all times. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must possess a current license to practice law. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Criminal Defense Attorney. Proven experience with criminal law, including but not limited to, criminal defense, criminal litigation, and handling criminal matters such as felonies and misdemeanors. Extensive trial experience. Proficient in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents. Excellent negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously. Strong knowledge of legal principles, statutory and case law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
