Position Summary
The Territory Sales Manager (Inside Sales) manages all aspects of an assigned territory to maintain customer relationships, drive sales growth, and achieve volume and revenue goals. This position serves as the primary customer contact for orders, pricing, credits, and service-related communication while supporting account retention and growth.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, gross margin, and RMA goals.
Serve as the primary customer contact for quotes, orders, credits, invoices, deliveries, and project updates.
Review customer cut lists and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate order processing.
Manage pricing, freight charges, and delivery requirements within established guidelines.
Partner with Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Executives to support customer accounts.
Assist with collection efforts and resolution of past-due balances.
Participate in customer visits to strengthen relationships and support business growth.
Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order information in CRM and ERP systems.
Identify and recover at-risk accounts.
Promote company brand awareness through industry engagement and social media.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Required
High school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience.
Previous account management and/or inside sales experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in the metal building or manufacturing industry.
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Work is primarily performed in an office environment using standard office equipment. The position involves prolonged sitting, computer work, reading, data entry, and verbal/electronic communication.
Physical Requirements:
Regular: Sitting, standing, typing, and reading.
Occasional: Lifting office supplies up to 25 pounds; reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and bending.
