TAX ACCOUNTANT / CPA

Steven Lissner & Company, LLC, a dynamic, expanding CPA firm located in Morris County, NJ, seeks a highly qualified tax accountant with 10+ years of experience to manage the tax and financial needs of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare corporate, partnership and individual tax returns
• Work with accounting reports and financial statements
• Interact with clients and develop professional relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• 10+ years of experience in accounting operations and principles
• Technical tax knowledge with tax controversy issues as well as audit and attest experience desired
• Trust, estate and gift tax returns and planning experience
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization, time-management, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with CCH Access software required (QuickBooks experience a plus)
• Relevant tax preparation certification or licensing (CPA license preferred)
