Software Application Developer

Job Description: Design, develop, document, and maintain software programs and applications to support business needs. Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects to analyze user needs and to design and create optimum software. Modify existing software to fix errors and enhance functionality and performance. Design databases within the application domain and work on moderately complex tasks that may require guidance from senior team members. Focus on developing and maintaining all server-side components. Implement effective security and data protection while developing high performance integration solutions leveraging the following technologies and tools: Java, JavaScript, Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, JSON, YAML, and Continuous Integration and Deployment. Write new software programs and maintain existing software programs, which includes enhancements and bug fixes. Analyze requirements, determine feasibility, and formulate plans to require developing new programs. Manage technical design, debugging, coding, unit testing, migration and/or installation, and documentation of changes. Provide production support of day-to-day business operations, working to identify and resolve issues based on priority. Act as an advisor to junior team members, supervisors, or staff members to help meet established schedules and resolve technical or operational problems. Manage stakeholder communications including conducting briefings and technical meetings for IT and business representatives. Communicate with stakeholders, including organization mangers, leaders, and business partners to discuss business requirements. Explain programming logic as it relates to design and function, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or clarification meetings. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required. Two years of experience in software development, production support, and customer support required. Any experience required with: designing, building, unit testing, and migrating software; performing root cause analysis; technical project management and stakeholder communications; and with business intelligence and reporting.
