The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and preparing HVAC duct systems and components from sheet metal materials. This role ensures all products meet quality standards, specifications, and production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to fabricate HVAC ductwork and fittings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, presses, and plasma cutters
• Assemble duct sections using riveting, welding, and fastening techniques
• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with loading, staging, and preparing completed duct systems for shipment or installation

Qualifications:

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or HVAC ductwork preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of fabrication tools and machinery
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift materials and work in a physically demanding environment
• Basic math and measuring skills

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing or shop setting
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and metal materials
• Requires standing, lifting, and repetitive motion
