<b>Find your calling at Mercy!</b> <p></p>The Senior Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Responsibilities for this role also include serving as a resource and acting as a lead while leadership is unavailable. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.<p></p> <b>Position Details:</b> <p></p><p><b>Education:</b> Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.</p><p><b>Experience</b>: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelors degree program</p><p><b>Certification/Registration</b>: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R ; Basic Life Support (BLS).</p><p><b>Licensure: </b>State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.</p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><p>Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:</p><p></p><ul><li>Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as performing imaging procedures while supervising staff.</li><li>Ability to lead and motivate a team</li><li>Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to adjust as needed.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li><li>Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li>Pursue continued ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.</li></ul><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><p>• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.</p><p>• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.</p><p>• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.</p><p></p> <b>Why Mercy?</b> <p></p><p>From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.</p><p></p><p>Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
