Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Job Duties: Contribute to the design, orchestration and development of ongoing data science projects from data ingestion to presentation. Work with platform engineers and others to develop tools/frameworks needed to carry out projects. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Research new data engineering and analytics methodologies with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Synthesize insights from raw data. Build dashboards and other visualizations; communicate findings internally and externally. Build ad hoc pipelines and infrastructure in the cloud to unblock analytical projects as needed. Full-time telecommuting is an option. Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Data warehouse design (2) Data modeling (3) Extract, Transform, Load (ETL); (4) SQL; (5) Scripting language (python or powershell); (6); Cloud platform (Azure or AWS); (7) Data Visualization (Tableau or Power BI); (8) Business Intelligence and reporting application development and support (9) Data quality and reconciliation (10) Analytics Data Architecture. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option. Salary: $239,774.00 - $263,751.00 per year & standard company benefits.
