Quality Inspector

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Mokena, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of quality control experience and be comfortable performing inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to train on 1st or 2nd shift, if required.

Job Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of Quality Control (QC) experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation.

• Record and maintain accurate inspection results and quality records.

• Identify defects, non-conforming products, and process-related quality concerns.

• Support continuous improvement efforts and initiatives to reduce scrap and rework.

• Ensure products meet customer requirements and applicable industry standards.

Job Details Include:

• Monday - Friday, some weekends possible

• 3rd Shift

• 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• $20.35 per hour
