JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locums Tenens Location: Paducah, KY Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a, 7-10 days per month Call Type: In-House Call Ratio: 4-6 Reason for Coverage: Inpatient call coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult Average Daily Volume: 6-12 patients per day Case Mix: General Urology, ESWL, Advanced Endoscopic Techniques, Ureteroscopy FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: N/A EMR System: EPIC Support Staff Available: 2 APRNs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES General Urology ESWL Advanced Endoscopic Techniques Ureteroscopy Laser Certification JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (Urology) Licenses: Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC) DEA: Active DEA Certification Certifications: ACLS (Preferred) Duties & Responsibilities Provide on-call coverage for urology inpatient consults and emergencies Perform general urology procedures including ESWL on Tuesdays Conduct advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy Collaborate with onsite ambulatory APRNs for clinic support Manage inpatient urological cases with potential outpatient procedures
