A healthcare organization in Louisiana is seeking a Board Certified Invasive Cardiologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment. This opportunity combines outpatient clinic responsibilities, inpatient consultative care, hospital rotations, and shared call while supporting continuity of care for an established patient panel.

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract: Long-term
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with hospital rotations approximately every 5-6 weeks
• Coverage: Minimum of three weeks per month preferred
• Call: Shared beeper call
• Response Time: Within 30 minutes
• EMR: EPIC
• Temporary Privileges: Not available

• Provide outpatient invasive cardiology clinic services
• Manage an established panel of cardiology patients
• Perform inpatient consultations and daily rounding during hospital service
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate care with referring providers
• Interpret diagnostic cardiovascular studies
• Communicate results and treatment plans with patients and referring clinicians
• Supervise Physician Assistants as the designated supervising physician
• Document patient care using EPIC

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Fellowship training in Cardiology
• Active medical license with eligibility for hospital privileges
• Ability to serve as supervising physician for Physician Assistants
• Experience providing both outpatient and inpatient invasive cardiology services
• Commitment to a minimum of three weeks of coverage per month preferred
