Job Summary: The Outside Sales Representative - Safety & Risk Management is responsible for developing new business opportunities and delivering consultative solutions that help organizations improve workplace safety and comply with OSHA and DOT regulations.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting, cold calling, and scheduling appointments
  • Manage sales processes and presentations with business owners
  • Work with current Sheakley partners
  • Maintain positive client relationships
  • Promote and educate employers on the need for creating safer work environments
  • Complete required sales paperwork in a timely manner and finalize new client contracts
  • Accomplish sales goals and quotas established by management
  • Local travel throughout the assigned market area

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations preferred
  • Formal sales training (e.g., PSS or similar) is a plus


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience (consultative or solution-based sales preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships and generate referrals
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Experience selling complex or intangible services is a plus
