Neurology Medical Director

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Regional Medical Director for its comprehensive Neurology program in Chicago's western suburbs. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape a patient-centered care model, focusing on clinical excellence and program development. The position is primarily clinical (90%) with dedicated time for medical director duties (10%), allowing for direct patient care alongside leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional, patient centered care model for the Program that includes value, talent, and reputation
• Accountable for the performance, engagement, and collaboration of the clinical program in the Great Lakes Region
• Joint responsibility with the administrative counterpart for leadership and clinical oversight of the Program and clinical services
• Focus on clinical and programmatic excellence and quality of care
• Focus on physician and clinical staff development
• Perform 90% of this role in a clinical capacity
• Perform 10% for medical director duties
• General Neurology; sub-specialty areas of interest welcome

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $350,000-$420,000

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and US residency program
• Current Illinois Physician medical license in good standing
• Board Certified/Eligible, required
• Physician with leadership experience, a plus
