The Manufacturing Associate - Mechanical is responsible for manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies to specification and in a timely manner.

What you'll do:

  • Navigate and perform transactions in Smarter Production System
  • Follow safety protocols, material handling process, and written work instructions
  • Set-up and operate press fit and detab machines
  • Press components into circuit boards
  • Perform torque testing and 1st piece run inspection process
  • Maintain the condition of fixtures, tooling, and detab equipment
  • Work with Coordinator and Engineering to improve processing
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you'll need:

  • Basic proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel (vlookups, etc), Office, and Outlook
  • Read, understand & write English
  • Ability to work well with others or by themselves
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to demonstrate sound decision making and mechanical ability
  • Work safely in a manufacturing environment

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience using electronics prep tools
  • Knowledge and use of IPC 610 and J-STD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pneumatic presses, machine set-up, and/or prepping electronics components
  • Soldering PCBA's
