The Greer Group is seeking an experienced Machinist for a 2nd Shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. If you are a skilled machinist who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high-quality standards, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $24-$25/hour DOE
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Thursday

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and quality inspections
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Utilize hand and power tools to support production operations
• Follow all safety procedures and lean manufacturing practices
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous machinist experience required
• Experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes
• Knowledge of CNC programming
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on 2nd shift
