Lead Fabricator & Installer

Summary of Position:

This person is responsible for preparing for and executing installations directing and working alongside multiple teams of 3-5 personell. An ideal candidate will have a 4-8 years experience with wide variety of fabrication tools and methods. Experience with woods, metals, plastics, and lighting is preferred. The role will also involve fabrication of items prior to installation. A familiarity with Art, Architecture, LEAN Manufacturing, and/or Construction environments and structures is a plus.

Duties and Responsibility include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining an organized a safe work environment
• Provide regular progress updates and proactively identify roadblocks
• Attention to detail and quality is required
• Knowledge and use of common hand tools and fabrication equipment, such as table saw, planer, joiner, sander, and drill press
• Review and work from Shop Drawings
• Move & Lift 60 lbs
• Must be able to work during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and have the ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends as required
• Must be able to stay focused on independent tasks and communicate as a part of a larger team.
