The Jobsite Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing medium-sized crews of 6 to 15 workers on residential and commercial construction projects. Responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly, this role requires effective team leadership, adherence to safety standards, and close coordination of schedules and materials. The Foreman reports directly to the Owner and occasionally travels locally to different job sites. Familiarity with basic project management and safety tools is expected to maintain quality and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction crew of 6-15 workers to ensure productivity and quality
• Enforce safety compliance according to construction safety standards
• Coordinate work schedules and material deliveries to meet project timelines
• Conduct regular worksite inspections for quality control and progress assessment
• Report project status and any issues directly to the Owner
• Resolve problems proactively to maintain workflow and team morale
• Facilitate clear communication among team members and subcontractors
• Manage handling and storage of construction materials efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in construction management
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of construction safety standards
• Experience with project scheduling and time management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
