Deputy General Counsel

Duties: Develop and implement strategies for addressing escalated cases, along with providing guidance and support to attorneys and legal staff. Oversee investigation and handling of escalated legal matters. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of ongoing cases. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis. Work closely with other departments, as well as collaborating with outside counsel and experts to manage legal challenges. Requires: J.D. or foreign equivalent. 3 years of experience in related role. 3 years of experience working in debt resolution environment. 3 years of experience working with litigation matters and resolution of complex litigation cases. Must be licensed to practice law in state of New York. Home benefit available - must report to New York, NY office in-person at least 3 days per week. Offered salary of $100,000 to $180,000.
