Job Description

Perform system startup activities through Tier II with limited support and verify operational quality of system equipment. Perform equipment qualifications and calibrations with minimal assistance. Provide preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment. Actively respond to fab issues by communicating with engineers in other locations and participating in technical escalations. Carry out action plans to resolve equipment or process issues and report findings to engineering or management teams. Follow all checklists and procedures and ensures correct revisions of procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work. Identify procedural issues or documentation gaps and report to the lead or appropriate groups. Perform BKMs and maintain engagement with knowledge-management systems to support consistent troubleshooting practices. Comply with all IP guidelines. Assist with or perform retrofits, upgrades, and system modifications. Support resolution of day-to-day and systemic equipment issues and execute escalation plans when required. Prepare technical documentation, including maintenance logs, corrective-action reports, and updates to procedures and present information to internal and external stakeholders. Interpret circuit diagrams and schematics to support diagnostics and repair activities. Execute equipment-related projects to improve uptime, reduce operational costs, or enhance system performance. Requirements: Associates degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Alternatively, the employer will also accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Integrating mechanical, electrical, electronic, physical, and materials engineering principles to support complex equipment installation and performance. 2. Proficiency with advanced semiconductor subsystems, including vacuum chambers, RF plasma sources, thermal control units, and robotics. 3. Troubleshooting and optimization of high-precision tools used in manufacturing environments. 4. Process alignment and technical documentation accuracy. Salary range: $85,467.00 - $102,560.40 per year Location: 25800 N Norterra Parkway, Phoenix, AZ, 85085. 75% dom. & Intl travel required.
