Job Description

Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits In this role, you will be responsible for creating complex toolpaths for CNC mills and lathes using MasterCAM, optimizing production processes, and ensuring precise quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Create, test, and refine multi-axis CNC programs for mills and lathes using MasterCAM and G & M code. Develop efficient machining strategies to cut cycle times, lower tooling costs, and enhance overall part quality. Specify cost-effective cutting tools, custom fixtures, and raw materials tailored to specific job requirements. Rapidly diagnose and resolve issues with machine setups, tool wear/breakage, and program errors. Produce detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide shop machinists. Introduce and implement advanced measuring technologies with Quality Control; maintain compliance with established ISO procedures. Master new measurement instruments and software applications to support continuous shop floor advancement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on industry experience. 3+ years of hands-on CNC programming and machining experience (extrusion/manufacturing background preferred). Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and CAM software (MasterCAM). Expert knowledge of G & M code and strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. High attention to detail, familiar with ISO quality management standards, and proficient with precision measuring instruments.
