CNC Lathe Machinist - Defense Search

OVERVIEW

Immediate opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist in San Diego, CA who possesses:

• 1+ years of CNC Lathe Machine operating experience in aerospace
• Experience with hand tools (micrometers, height gauges, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

FULL DESCRIPTION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Operate one or more CNC machines
• Set-up machines and submit parts for first article approvals
• Use provided measuring equipment to inspect parts
• Complete a task with minimal supervision
• Participate in Safety improvement throughout the facility
• Keep your area clean, organized, and well maintained

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Machine Set-up experience
• Metrology experience
• Basic machine maintenance
• Ability to read engineering sketches
• Programming background a plus
• Formal CNC training courses a plus

Salary Range: $25-$34/hr
