Assemblers Needed

We are seeking detail-oriented Assemblers, general production workers and machine operators to be a part of a growing production facility.

We have opportunities in the following area:

Grand Rapids, Caledonia, Lowell, Ionia

Different shifts available: First, Second, and Third Shifts with overtime as needed

You will be responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately, adhering to safety standards and quality protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with hand and power tools, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to specifications, and production documents.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
• Conduct quality checks during assembly processes to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures.
• Support process improvement initiatives by suggesting efficiencies in assembly procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards in production.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets efficiently.
• Assist in managing production documentation and recording assembly activities.

Requirements

• Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience, preferably in a production environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including manual handling and heavy lifting protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documents, process instructions, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies is desirable.
• Prior experience managing or working within production or assembly teams is advantageous.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting over extended periods.
