Workforce Grant Project Manager 091526-001P

Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Workforce Grant Project Manager on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida.

The Workforce Grant Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of state, federal, and privately funded workforce grants. This position ensures compliance with funding requirements, supports workforce-aligned training programs, strengthens partnerships with industry, and advances student success in high-demand career pathways. The manager serves as the central coordinator for workforce-related grant initiatives, including supporting program design, budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts aligned with regional workforce needs and Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) priorities.

The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:

Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution (Masters degree preferred).
3 5+ years of experience managing grants, programs, or projects (workforce or education sector preferred).
Strong knowledge of grant compliance, reporting requirements, and budget management.
Demonstrated experience with federal or state-funded workforce programs.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operators license required.

This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay (currently $36.00). This fingerprinting fee ($36.00) is non-refundable.

High School Diploma or GED or transcripts or official transcripts of all collegiate work (as appropriate for the position) must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. Minimum physical qualifications:

Office environment within a college setting with occasional travel for meetings, site visits, or conferences.
May require evening or weekend hours to support program activities or community engagement.

The annual salary is $45,000. This position is externally funded. Successful internal candidates for external job postings should be aware that their current salary does not transfer to the new position. Salary will be as advertised in the job announcement. Full-time employees of Eastern Florida State College receive fringe benefits including health insurance and a retirement plan.
