WHNP needed in Novato, CA

This is a full-time clinical role within a mission-driven, community-based healthcare organization that provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary and women s health services to a diverse population in Marin County.

Clinic Schedule:

• Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• 1st & 3rd Wednesday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• 2nd, 4th & 5th Wednesday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Saturday Sunday: Closed

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on primary care clinical experience (clinical rotations/clerkships do not count), or

• Completion of a residency-style hands-on training program of 12 months or longer

• Bilingual English/Spanish required

• Full-time availability

The provider will deliver comprehensive women s health and primary care services with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive, patient-centered care.

Required Proficiencies Include:

• Taking a comprehensive sexual history

• Contraceptive counseling with consideration of underlying medical conditions

• Family history assessment relevant to women s health

Evaluation, Diagnosis, and Management of:

• Vaginitis and urinary tract infections

• Sexually transmitted infections

• Abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, and uterine fibroids

• Pregnancy of unknown location, including ruling out ectopic pregnancy

• Urinary conditions (incontinence, overactive bladder, painful bladder syndrome)

• Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis

• Adnexal masses, including ruling out ovarian torsion

• Dyspareunia and sexual dysfunction

• Menopause, vasomotor symptoms, and hormone therapy

• Infertility and pre-conception counseling

• Breast-related concerns

• Pelvic organ prolapse

Procedural Skills:

• Colposcopy and cervical biopsy, including endocervical curettage

• Basic suturing

• Basic post-operative care (suture/staple removal, wound dressing changes)

• Insertion and removal of indwelling catheters

• Wound care for cesarean section incisions and vulvar wounds

• Pelvic ultrasound (transabdominal and transvaginal), including diagnosis of intrauterine pregnancy and IUD localization

• Salary Range: $135,000 $160,000 per year
