Welding manufacturing supervisor

We are seeking an experienced hands on welding manufacturing supervisor to lead our welding and fabrication team. In this role, you will oversee daily production, ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and mentor team members to maintain high quality output. Compensation and schedule:

• Pay rate: $20-30 per hour depending on experience
• Schedule: full time, 40 hours per week
• Hours: 8-hour shifts, starting at 6:00 AM
• Location: Mount Dora

Key Responsibilities:

Team leadership:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of welders, fabricators, and support staff.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Hold the team accountable to production in quality standards

Production & Operations

• Coordinate daily activities to ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Oversee welding and fabrication process to ensure work is completed to specifications4 Monitor workflow, resource allocation, and staffing levels to optimize productivity
• Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and maintain proper inventory levels of materials and tools

Safety & Quality

• Promote and enforce safety policies to maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Support safety initiatives, meetings, audits, and incident investigations
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to inspect welds and correct defects
• Insure all equipment including robotic programming is properly maintained and calibrated

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as the supervisor or lead in a welding manufacturing environment
• 2 years experience welding and fabrication skills
• Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance, calibration, and robotics
