Welder / Mechanic - Experienced

Badger Tank is currently seeking experienced welders to inspect, repair and perform preventative maintenance on tank trailers at our facility in Arnegard. We offer top pay and advancement opportunity. Aluminum welding experience is required.

Tank Trailer Mechanic / Welder
Job Duties:

• Perform mandatory DOT Inspections
• Repair tank and fabricate specialty parts and enhancements
• Aluminum welding and fabricating

Qualifications:

Aluminum Welding
• Certified Tank Inspector (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years verifiable tank technician experience
• Must be certifiable in aluminum MIG and TIG
• Familiar with air brake repair and suspension repairs
• Prior tank trailer experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Basic tools required.
• Can operate a forklift

Physical and safety requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work within confined spaces.
• Most job duties are indoor but must be able to withstand extreme cold on occasion
