United States (Hybrid flexibility available)

Compensation

Base salary ranging from $345,000 to $435,000, plus comprehensive bonus structure and premium benefits.

Schedule

Full-time, direct-hire position with an annual billable hour target of approximately 1,850 hours.

Our client is a nationally recognized global law firm with a highly sophisticated private wealth practice serving high-net-worth individuals, founders, family enterprises, and corporate principals.

The firm is known for integrating private wealth strategy with corporate and transactional matters, providing attorneys with exposure to complex liquidity events, succession planning, and multi-generational wealth preservation structures within a collaborative, high-level advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Associate will advise clients on sophisticated estate, tax, and wealth transfer strategies.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Structuring advanced estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies
  • Managing complex estate and trust administration matters
  • Advising fiduciaries, trustees, and family offices on governance and risk management issues
  • Developing financial and tax projections related to wealth transfer structures
  • Supporting founders, executives, and business entities on estate planning issues tied to major corporate transactions
  • Drafting sophisticated trusts, estate planning documents, and related instruments
Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following core requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active U.S. bar admission, or eligibility to obtain admission in a relevant jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of substantive experience in estate planning, trust administration, and tax strategy
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and client advisory skills
  • Ability to manage sophisticated private wealth matters independently
Preferred Skills & Experience

The following qualifications are considered advantageous:

  • LL.M. in Taxation, Estate Planning, or related discipline
  • Experience advising founders or executives around liquidity events, M&A, or IPO-related planning
  • Familiarity with closely held business governance and family partnership structures
  • Business development capabilities or portable client relationships
