Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor trailers to transport waste and recycling materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and issues.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe driving and customer service.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving tractor trailers with walking floor trailers.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• License must be clean and will undergo insurance review.
• Ability to handle physical demands of job, including loading and unloading materials.
