Facility: This is a well-established medical center located in Anchorage that serves as a leading healthcare institution in Alaska, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with a Level 2 pediatric designation, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for specialized neurological care.
Full-time locum tenens coverage needed as soon as credentialed, with the option for two providers working in tandem to fulfill full-time requirements
Coverage includes two weeks per month of in-person clinic work (8:00am - 5:00pm) combined with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
Remaining two weeks per month consist of virtual hospital call coverage, providing 24-hour-a-day call support remotely
Ideal candidates are able to perform both in-person clinic work and virtual call coverage to ensure continuity of care
Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 40 hours per week
Board certification required; providers who can obtain a temporary AK state license or AK Locums License while full licensure is in process will be considered
DEA required; BLS certification required
Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
