Job Description

Ultrasound Technician position at Martha's Vineyard Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham.
Contract length is 13 weeks with a start date of 8/31/2026.
Work schedule is 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
Shared housing is available with restrictions: no guests or pets, and must have own transportation.
Candidate must have flu vaccine.

Must have BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military).
Professional license and/or certification verification required within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
Fit Test (N95) within 365 days of start date and updated annually; no exemptions allowed.
Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required.
TB test documentation within 3 months of start date and updated if break >6 months.
Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if break >6 months.
Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
Two references within 4 years, minimum one supervisor or above in skillset.
Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for initial assignments and extensions.
Education verification of highest level achieved required.
SSN trace with addresses/aliases for past 7 years required.
National sex offender check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually.

Shared housing available with restrictions: no guests or pets, must have own transportation.
