- Job Details
- Assist in the care of the surgical patient.
- Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.
- Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure.
- Maintains the sterile field vigilantly.
- Follows instructions of Physicians and RN closely.
- Adheres to established hospital policies related to the Operating Room.
- Practices Standard Precautions at all times.
- Maintains a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.
- Job Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technician required.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Graduate from an accredited program.
- Schedule Information
- 3 days a week, 12.5 hours per day, 7am-8pm.
- Includes 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks.
- Shift: AM.
- Hours per week: 37.5.
- Additional Details
- Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 35lbs.
- Must be able to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing and/or walking.
