Responsibilities include general cases if no CVOR cases available, EPIC system usage, and possible floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
Job Requirements
Must have 2 years of CVOR experience
Prior travel experience required
Must complete Ascension Specialty Exam with minimum 80% passing score
Must complete Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics
Must complete Ascension EKG Exam with minimum 80% passing score
Must complete Ascension Epic Test-Out and Training Checklist
Must have current professional nursing license verified via Nursys within 30 days prior to start
Must have current license/certificate verification within 30 days prior to start
Must complete required health screenings and vaccinations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Influenza Vaccine (optional), TB testing
Must complete background checks including criminal background, EPLS, and employment verification
Must provide Ascension Resume/Profile and two professional references
Must complete Ascension Onboarding Requirements and Education Verification
Schedule Information
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating Monday to Friday, either 8-hour shifts (06:50-15:20) or 10-hour shifts (06:50-16:50)
Start time may vary to 06:00 depending on heart cases
Call: Rotating call during weekdays and weekends based on department needs
Holiday call hours based on need
Unit Specific Information
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
