Job Description

Position: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo tech)
Skillset: Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Inpatient portable echocardiography, Outpatient echocardiography, Structural Heart Familiarity, Ultrasound Contrast and Agitated Saline Use, Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) including TEE probe high-level disinfection, Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE)
Preferred Skills: Pediatric Echocardiography, Experience with EPIC EMR
Equipment Used: Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System
On-Call Requirements: Approximately every 5th weekend (Friday to Monday), one night per week, potential holiday coverage, must respond within 1 hour

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography program (2-year program)
Registry eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS
RCS Certification eligible through CCI

Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
On-Call: Approximately every 5th weekend (Friday to Monday), one night per week, potential holiday coverage, must respond within 1 hour

Required health screenings and immunizations: MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, TB Test, Varicella, Annual TB Questionnaire, Physical/Health Statement
Professional requirements: Driver's License/State ID, 2 Professional References, Criminal Background Check, Resume, Webchecks, National and State Sex Offender Registry checks, Education Verification, Client Forms including Security Credentials Acknowledgement and Confidentiality Agreement, Employment Verification
Testing and competency requirements: Core Competencies, Unit Exam, Skills Checklist, Drug Screen
