Job Duties & Responsibilities Supervise the Tool & Die Department, providing leadership, coaching, scheduling, and oversight of preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Oversee tooling performance by reviewing die designs, approving new and modified tooling, supporting die tryouts, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Partner with engineering, production, suppliers, and cross-functional teams on automation projects, equipment upgrades, tooling procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive safety, quality, and operational excellence through root cause analysis, KPI reporting, cost reduction efforts, and process improvements. Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tool & Die, metal stamping, manufacturing engineering, or a related industrial manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of metal stamping dies, tooling maintenance, manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and CAD software including SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Proven leadership, project management, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments while supporting safety, quality, and production objectives. Preferred Skills & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool & Die Technology, or a related discipline. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of powder coating processes, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
