Tile Layer Mid-Level

Job Title: Tile Installer / Tile Setter
Experience: 2 5 years
Pay Range: depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to perform installation of ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other tile materials on commercial and residential construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Read drawings, layouts, and project specifications.
Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation.
Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tile products.
Prepare substrates and apply waterproofing where required.
Set tile using thin-set, mortar, adhesive, and other approved materials.
Cut and fit tile around corners, fixtures, drains, and openings.
Install grout, caulking, and expansion joints.
Maintain proper spacing, alignment, level, and slope.
Identify and correct installation problems.
Protect completed tile work from damage.
Maintain tools and a clean, safe work area.
Coordinate with General Contractor and other trades.
Qualifications:

2 5 years of professional tile installation experience.
Experience with commercial or high-end residential projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of tile-setting materials and techniques.
Ability to read basic construction drawings.
Ability to use tile saws and hand tools.
OSHA/jobsite safety awareness.
Good attention to detail and quality.
