What You ll Do:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to deliver effective therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting outcomes in compliance with regulations.
• Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding speech and swallowing issues.
• Communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary team and document all clinical activities in electronic health records.
• Support supervision and mentoring of CFYs or student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed.
• Maintain adherence to ASHA and state practice standards and ethical guidelines.

What You Need:

• Valid state licensure and ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology
• Prior experience working in Long Term Care settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently within a team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics
