What You ll Do
Perform a full range of physical therapy services within your clinical privileges
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations
Administer manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and traction to relieve pain and improve function
Educate and motivate patients in performing exercises and using assistive devices
Record patient responses, progress, and treatment details accurately
Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare team members
Promote wellness, prevention, and health education activities
Physical Therapist Minimum Qualifications:
Degree: Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates before January 1, 2002.
Education: Graduate from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist.
Basic Life Support Certification: Required by American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
Preferred:
Experience in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment This position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Bremerton, WA, providing outpatient physical therapy services. The role involves direct patient care, treatment planning, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, days only, with no nights or weekends.
