What You ll Do:

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities through informal and formal assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician directives
• Coordinate and document treatment activities, updating plans as needed
• Educate patients and families about pathology, treatment options, and prognosis
• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students
• Recommend assistive and adaptive equipment; assist with equipment procurement
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with policies and regulations

What You Need:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Prior experience in outpatient and acute care preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement

Preferred:

• Experience with comprehensive patient education
• Supervisory experience with therapy assistants and students
