Test Technician

Follow clearly prescribed procedures to provide general assistance to engineers in the implementation and maintenance of engineering procedures and document control. Under specific direction, provide support for production of proposals and presentations. Utilize various equipment to perform duties, such as computers, word processing and graphics equipment. What are the top 3 hard must have skills required for this role? (These would be non-negotiable and get the candidate an interview) Greater than 1 year of hands-on experience performing UL, CSA, and IEC compliance tests for drive (VFD - variable frequency drive) products Working knowledge of variable frequency drive design and operation. Minimum of associate degree in electrical field - not interested in software, mechanical or business major. Work experiences in a lab or development environment. Proficiency in operating laboratory test equipment to obtain accurate measurements and interpret results effectively. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
