Territory Sales Manager

Job Description

Compensation:

• Annual Base Salary: $40,000
• Monthly commission opportunity based on individual and/or territory sales performance.
• Monthly car allowance
• This role offers competitive earning potential through a combination of base salary, monthly commission, and a car allowance.

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share by developing and strengthening relationships within the dealer and distributor network. This role serves as a trusted business partner to customers by providing product expertise, sales support, training, and strategic guidance throughout the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will bring strong relationship-building skills, consultative sales experience, and the ability to identify growth opportunities while supporting customer success.

• Manage and grow relationships with existing dealer and distributor accounts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships and drive sales growth.
• Train dealer sales associates and account personnel on product features, benefits, and selling strategies.
• Provide product expertise and business guidance to dealers, builders, architects, and channel partners.
• Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
• Maintain awareness of market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to sales leadership regarding market opportunities.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate product knowledge and communicate new product information to customers.
• Support inventory management, stock integrity, and return negotiations as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and service.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer satisfaction and territory performance.

• Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Proven success in territory sales, outside sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience within building materials, windows and doors, millwork, construction products, or related industries preferred.
• Experience conducting product presentations and customer training preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to attend customer meetings, job sites, trade events, and training activities as needed.
