Essential Duties
Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
Provide additional services such as prepaid cards, cashier's checks, money orders, and bond cashing.
Assist customers with product inquiries, recommend services, and refer to other departments when appropriate.
Answer incoming calls, resolve questions, and route calls as needed.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Work Schedule
Hours vary based on staffing needs; flexibility required.
Full-time averages 40 hours/week; part-time averages 24-26 hours/week.
Saturday rotation required.
Requirements
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and high accuracy.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Commitment to delivering professional, efficient customer service aligned with Pillar Bank standards.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-2 years teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
