Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer Req

Participate in new product introductions and early learning shipments, resolution of critical long-term customer issues with upper management, and identifying special projects for successful implementation and completion. Responsible for product Hardware performance at a specific customer. Provide third-level escalation for Hardware & Software (stability) issues. Provides expert level technical support of Applied Materials CMP Systems including Reflexion, Reflexion LK Prime and OPTA and engages in technical dialogue with customer. Supports advanced troubleshooting and manages customer escalations for technical issues related to hardware and or software stability issues. Provides On-site support at customer facilities for installation, operation, service, or testing of new hardware or software and drives engineered solutions to correct issues long term. Maintains database and tracking of parts, software licenses, MTBF, MTBI and Availability reporting, including process and Install Warranty spending analysis. Supports GPS in development of documentation as needed for technical improvements or system upgrades, presents at customer level and ensures field implementation across all customer sites. Supports knowledge transfer from BU and enhances local teams technical knowledge by frequent exchange of information of BU to Account Team. Review and create data tables and graphs to plot data and trends. Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. In the alternative, employer will also accept Associate's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related plus 9 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: SAP (CMMS); Microsoft Office; Hand tools and precision measurement devices such as Air Data Meter, Multimeter, or Reference pressure monitor; Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and controls; Electrical Schematics; Software Log analysis; and Windows Computer Operating Systems. Salary range $132,700 - $172,510 per year Location: 7395 NE Evergreen Parkway, Hillsboro OR 97124. 50% Dom. and/or Intl travel required.
