Tax Administration Coordinator
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Administration Coordinator to support daily tax administration operations within a professional services environment. This role works closely with the Tax Administration Manager to ensure efficient processes, compliance with tax procedures, and effective support for tax professionals and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
Execute tax administration processes under the guidance of the Tax Administration Manager
Support and maintain tax software, tools, and related applications
Assist in implementing and maintaining tax standards, procedures, and best practices
Help train administrative staff and tax professionals on tax administration processes and systems
Monitor compliance with established tax standards and procedures
Identify process or system inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions
Prepare reports, perform basic data analysis, and maintain accurate records
Build and maintain strong working relationships with local office, market, and tax professionals
Provide local office and market maintenance support
Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a tax administration role required
Prior experience within a professional services firm required
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of tax deadlines, tax forms, and tax administration procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and teams
Ability to communicate professionally and tactfully in fast-paced, high-demand environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.25 per hour
