A prominent, established dry cleaner in the West Los Angeles area is looking for an experienced Tailor / Alterations Specialist to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with clothing alterations and tailoring and be comfortable working with a variety of garments and fabrics.

Responsibilities
Perform professional alterations, repairs, and tailoring on men's and women's garments
Hem pants, skirts, and dresses; adjust waistlines and sleeves; alter jackets and suits
Perform zipper replacements, repairs, and other garment modifications
Measure customers accurately and provide recommendations regarding alterations
Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, fit, and finishing
Work efficiently while meeting customer deadlines
Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
Qualifications
Previous professional tailoring or alterations experience required
Strong sewing and garment-construction skills
Experience with men's suits, dresses, pants, jackets, and other clothing preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders
Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
