System Analyst

Job Title: System Analyst Client: PenFed Credit Union. Work location McLean, VA Job Duties: Analyze existing Salesforce applications, business workflows, and system integrations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Work with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements, translating business needs into system specifications and solution designs. Evaluate and recommend enhancements to Salesforce configurations, workflows, and data models to improve system usability, performance, and alignment with business objectives. Design system integration approaches between Salesforce and enterprise platforms such as ERP systems, financial applications, and cloud services to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Assess customer engagement processes and recommend optimized solutions using Salesforce capabilities such as Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, and analytics tools. Review system configurations, validation rules, and approval processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and organizational policies. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Analyze system performance, data integrity, and reporting outputs to identify issues and recommend corrective actions and improvements. Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, data models, functional specifications, and user guides to support ongoing system maintenance. Collaborate with development teams, vendors, and IT staff to implement system changes and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and standards. Provide guidance and support to business users by explaining system capabilities, functionality, and recommended best practices. Conduct cost-benefit and impact analysis for proposed system changes, upgrades, and new feature implementations. Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires, at least minimum, a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
