Facility in Alton, IL seeking Lucrative General Surgery locums coverage Rates: $500/ beeper fee / nightcall plus $400/hr call back Opportunity Highlights
- Coverage Dates: March 9 March 13, 2026.
- Schedule: Night call only.
- Call Type: Off-site; call may be taken from home or a hotel.
- Response Time: 30-minute response required if called in.
- EMR: Epic.
- Duties: Night call for emergent General Surgery consults and procedures.
- Volume: Callback frequency is historically low.
- Environment: Supported by the OSF surgical team; emergency privileges are available for candidates with a clean background.
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- Licensure: Active Illinois State License and IL CSR are required at the time of application.
- Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience.
- Note: IMLC candidates will not be considered for this role.
