Structural Steel Fabricator

Requirements & Abilities

• MIG welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
• Experience with fabrication tools (saws, grinders, drill press, etc.)
• Ability to measure accurately using tape, square, and level
• Knowledge of basic welding standards (AWS experience a plus)
• Ability to fit, tack, and assemble steel components
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Ability to adhere to instructions and safety standards
• Great Attendance

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a shop environment (noise, heat, fumes)
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
• Must pass a drug test upon hire

Preferred:

• Structural steel fabrication experience
• Welding certifications
• Forklift experience
