Structural Designer Engineer

Job Details: Title: Structural Designer Engineer Location: Austin, TX 78725 Pay Range: $60/Hr. to $65/Hr. Benefits: This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client. All compensation and benefits, including but not limited to medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks, will be provided by the client in accordance with their internal policies and subject to applicable laws and eligibility requirements Job Description: Produce accurate LOD 300 structural models for use with Construction Documents (including project notes, foundation and framing plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules) Coordinate structural modeling and assist with utility routing across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Piping/Plumbing, Network, Architecture, and Fire Protection Integrate design input from vendors and manufacturers into the structural model while coordinating with other disciplines Collaborate with the BIM/CAD support team using Navisworks, Revizto, and 3D laser-scanned point clouds for routing and clash detection Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and work additional hours when needed to deliver quality results 3 Critical Must-Haves 8+ years of overall experience Team feels candidates with less experience may not have enough senior-level experience for this position 6+ years of Structural Revit experience Specifically structural design using Revit LOD 300 drawing/model packages Must understand BIM standards and the level of detail expected in 3D models
