STNA / Certified Nursing Assistant CNA 2nd shift & 3rd shift - DSL Tiffin

Full Time or Part Time Shifts Available: 8 hours & 12 hours.

Must carry an Active CNA License

Autumnwood Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (state-tested nursing assistant) with a valid Ohio license to join our facility's compassionate care-giving team.
The STNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other team members.
STNA Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning, and ambulating patients and providing fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals.

• Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos, and showers.

• Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, and therapeutic baths.

• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed.

• Ability to work as part of a team and to manage multiple tasks safely and effectively.

• High tolerance for working under pressure and managing critical situations with a cool head.

CNA Requirements

• High School diploma or GED

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training course

• Licensed to practice in Ohio.

• Basic computer skills

• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
