Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant

Job Overview
We are looking for a strong accountant to join our team and grow with us long term.
This role is for someone who can come in, learn the business, support our current accounting lead, and help bring structure to a fast moving operation with multiple companies and a lot of moving parts. We need someone who is sharp, dependable, organized, and able to work through real accounting and tax related issues, not just basic bookkeeping.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support day to day accounting operations across multiple entities
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and account analysis
• Help identify, organize, and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Work through tax related issues, filings, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month end and year end close processes
• Help improve internal organization, systems, and accounting accuracy
• Work alongside leadership to solve operational and financial issues as they come up
• Support a stronger accounting structure as the company continues to grow

Preferred Experience

• Experience with multi company accounting is a plus
• Experience with sales tax, compliance, and account cleanup is a plus
• Experience supporting operationally complex businesses is a plus
• CPA or strong equivalent experience is welcome, but not required depending on background
