Sr Maintenance Technician - PLC

The Sr Maintenance Technician - PLC is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. This advanced role requires strong PLC expertise for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and modification of automated systems, as well as maintenance support for MIG and TIG welding equipment.

Essential Duties:

- Implement and sustain the Preventative Maintenance Program, performing scheduled maintenance on production machinery.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
- Demonstrate strong PLC capabilities, providing technical support and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Conduct maintenance on welding equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Participate actively in 5S initiatives to maintain an organized workplace.
- Utilize computer systems and maintenance software for documentation and diagnostics.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

- Work safely and effectively while supporting teamwork and maintaining high standards of performance.
- Promote safety, offer recommendations, and ensure adherence to EHSMS policies.
- Foster positive inter-departmental relationships and effective communication.

Physical Demands:

Ability to maneuver around plant machinery, work near moving parts, and handle varying temperatures and loud noise levels. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
